Tara B Woodington, ARNP

Tara received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in Biology, followed by a second bachelor’s of science in nursing from Remington College of Nursing and her graduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. 

Tara worked as a pediatric hematology and oncology nurse for five years at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital before becoming an ARNP. She was awarded nurse of the year for that department in 2014. She is board-certified in pediatric primary care and cares for children from birth through age 21. She enjoys meeting and getting to know the families and establishing a long-term care relationship with her patients. Outside of patient care she most enjoys spending time enjoying the Florida sunshine at the beach or catching up with family and friends.
