Jackie Otero, M.D.

Dr. Jaclyn Otero, MD, is a board-certified, respected pediatrician who completed 7 years of training during medical school and residency at UF. Dr. Otero earned the respect of her peers and supervisors and was selected to serve as Pediatric Chief Resident. This distinguished position shows leadership and innovation which Dr. Otero continues through medical student education as well as her numerous publications.

Dr. O, as some of her littlest patients call her, has provided care from birth to age 21 at UF Health Pediatrics – Magnolia Parke since it’s opening. Dr. Otero places a strong emphasis on preventative care through not only physical health but also emotional well-being. She strives to help children reach their potential through compassionate care. One of her favorite roles is helping children and their parents navigate one of the most challenging times of their lives. Newborn care and breastfeeding medicine is a key passion of hers as is promoting health through vaccination.

Outside the office, Dr. Otero can be seen around town navigating those same joys and challenges that come with raising three little girls.
