Brittany A Dominguez, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CPST

Hello, my name is Brittany A. Dominguez, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CPST, and I work within the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. I specialize in pediatric primary care but also studied lactation and mental health counseling, while becoming certified in child passenger safety. I decided to join primary care to have the amazing opportunity to teach young children and their families to love and trust their body and to use conventional medicine as an adjunct only as needed.

My professional work experience is in pediatric allergy, ENT, and middle school nursing. During my education, I worked with a team to develop a screening tool for type 1 diabetes, and I led a project for child passenger safety, aiming to educate the community on how to install car seats safely and correctly, and how to use them the right way each time.

My primary goals as a physician are to remain up to date with primary care guidelines and provide evidence-based care to my patients. I also want to be a helpful resource to my patients and families, even in the seemingly mundane. I prefer to offer holistic remedies whenever possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, taking my golden retriever on long walks in the sunshine, and getting coffee with friends.
